NGC 2169 is also known as the 37 Cluster, with the asterism slanting upwards towards the upper right. It is actually composed of two separate visually-aligned open clusters, Collinder 38 and Collinder 83, approximately 3600 lightyears distant.
This image is the result of just over 1h of RGB data capture from Horsham, on an evening in December 2025. A ZWO ASI2600MM Pro camera was used, through an 8-inch Teleskop-Service Ritchey-Chretien reflector.
