This planetary nebula was only discovered in 1941, by the astronomer Rebecca Jones. The nebula subtends just over 5 arcminutes and is around 2500 lightyears distant.
This HOO image is the result of just over 19 hours of Ha and OIII data capture from Horsham, over 9 evenings in October and November 2025. A ZWO ASI2600MM Pro camera was used, through an 8-inch Teleskop-Service Ritchey-Chretien reflector.
