Cluster of clusters within asterism NGC 1746

This image covers most of an asterism in Taurus, that was previously classified as open cluster NGC 1746. But within the asterism are a couple of true open clusters, namely NGC 1750 and NGC 1758, as well as NGC 1746. The last was considered to be a cluster, but is more likely to be a random line-of-sight grouping. The two true clusters are gravitationally unrelated.

This image is the result of 1h of RGB data capture from Horsham, on an evening in November 2025. A ZWO ASI2600MM Pro camera was used, through an 8-inch Teleskop-Service Ritchey-Chretien reflector.
