NGC 772 in Aries

Sometimes called the Fiddlehead or Nautilus Galaxy, NGC 772 is large and at 200,000 lightyears across is twice the size of our Milky Way galaxy. It is 130 million lightyears distant.
The spiral structure has been distorted by the gravitational influence of the dwarf elliptical galaxy, below NGC 772 here.
Note that there are several small elliptical galaxies captured in the image.

The image is the result of over 2.5h of data capture, over two nights in December 2019.
