NGC 891 in Andromeda

Known as the Silver Sliver Galaxy, this edge-on spiral is around 30 million lightyears away. It is similar in size to our Milky Way galaxy. The prominent dust lane is reminiscent of that of NGC 4565, though the central bulge is not as prominent in NGC 891.
