NGC 3675 in Ursa Major
NGC 3675 is a spiral galaxy around 50 million lightyears distant. With an estimated diameter of 100,000 lightyears, it is similar in size to our own galaxy.
With an apparent diameter of only 6 arcminutes and shining at magnitude 10, limited detail is visible.
This RGB image is the result of 6h 20m of data capture from Horsham, over 5 evenings in April 2026. A ZWO ASI2600MM Pro camera was used, through an 8-inch Teleskop-Service Ritchey-Chretien reflector.
