Time and Motion

This image was taken at Victoria Station with a classic Kodak Retina IIc, on Ilford XP2 Super film. Every element in the image is as recorded during the half-second exposure, without any montage – though an HDR treatment has been applied overall.

The Retina was probably the best quality camera that Kodak ever made, the world's first collapsible 35mm bellows camera. The Retina range was launched in 1934, though the model IIc used here was manufactured in 1954-57.
