Star Clusters
Messier 36 in Auriga
This open cluster is around 4300 lightyears distant and consists of at least 60 stars. It is a young cluster, perhaps around 25 million years old.
The image is the result of 1h and 30min of data capture, over two evenings in October and December 2019.
ZWO ASI294MC Pro camera through an 8-inch Teleskop-Service Ritchey-Chretien reflector.
