Comet C/2017 T2 (Panstarrs) and Messier 36

This comet was imaged on 27th October 2019, as it was passing close to the open cluster Messier 36, in the constellation Auriga.
At the time, it shone at magnitude 9.5 and was approximately 328 million km (204 million miles) from Earth, still approaching perihelion.

The comet is to the left of the star cluster.
